Not a Gamer, But...

Ok, so as per my recent posts on KJ's blog, it should be glaringly obvious I am not, and will probably never be, a gamer. (After last night, my sentiments in that regard have been strengthend. I hereby solemnly swear to never achieve Roy's extent of butt-rot, become the Numa Numa guy frogger-ace, or forget that leaving the house requires you to a) shower or at least splash around in the tub for a minute b) change out of the clothes you've been wearing for the last 28 hours straight while you're achieving level 70 on World of Warcraft.)

However, in spite of those rather strong feelings, there is a BUT here.

I'm not a gamer, BUT that concert was AWESOME. Lee Ann Leung, Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall are amazing! Credit is due the ESO and the Kokopelli and Òran Chamber Choirs for being a part of it! Granted I didn't recognize most of the music or many of the games, but you don't have to know the back story to appreciate passion and great music.

And, score one point for loitering. Because we were virtually the only ones left in the theatre after the show ended, we got to meet Tommy Tallarico, Jack Wall and Lee Ann Leung before anyone else!

What more can you say about that. Ass kickin greatness. Now start praying for a return trip next year. Maybe square will get a grip on the stick they have up their ass and pull it out a bit so we can see some footage next time. All in all 3 thumbs up. (Point of order: I only have 2 thumbs, this show was so good that I took the initiative in pulling off someones else's thumb to give it 3)
