Happy Birthday to Nickiness!

Dr. Heinous, our tree-hugging, bird-watching, ocean-splashing, abandoned-cabin-finding friend from the West Coast is having a Birthday today!

We must not let such a momentous occasion pass without note and a few random suggestions for celebrating:

• Mud puddle-jumping is necessary (except of course if you are in Alberta and such jumping will cause a cloud of angry mosquitos to swarm you and probably deprive you of a vital limb or appendage)
• Spashing in the ocean (because you can do that and us land-locked Albertans cannot) and then treating for blue-toe if necessary
• Reading a book at a certain abandoned cabin where no one can bother you with silly birthday songs (although you might want to steal a piece of birthday cake before you sneak away)
• Throwing a dart at a map of the Vancouver area and taking a spontaneous road trip to find out how exciting Pitt Meadows can really be on a Tuesday
• Buying yourself your favourite dessert and refusing to share with anyone
• Treating yourself to dinner or better yet, packing yourself a picnic dinner and going for a hike
• Turning up the music really loud in your room and dancing until you can't move anymore

I could really spend my entire work-day on this blog entry...so I will end it here...for now!
