Read A National Crime by John Milloy.

It will break your heart, but this story needs to be read by all who call Canada home. I feel so ashamed that no one stood up to stop the neglect, the abuse and the inhumanity sooner. No survivors or their families were interviewed for the book and it still has so much power. How much more anguish would I have felt if those who lived it had made their voice heard in this tale too?

It is a tough read for many reasons. But read it.
